on Body Dysmorphic Disorder II

A series of Victorian Cartes de Visite featuring five early 20th Century performers (Daisy & Violet Hilton, Pip and Flip, Jo-Jo the Dog-Faced Boy, and Annie Jones the Bearded Woman), mostly known from Tod Browning‘s controversial 1932 film “Freaks” (link to full length movie).
The illustrations are made by emotive modern Symbolist painter Gail Potocki.
